Doja Cat Overwhelmed With Fame Took To Twitter To Quit Music Career

After a cancelled performance at the Asuncionico festival in Paraguay Doja cat received backlash from fans claiming the singer neglected them outside of her hotel. After the many complaints from the Paraguayan fans Doja Cat took to twitter to announce she was quitting music. There were many tweets from Doja Cat from this time where she expressed her frustrations and claimed she wanted to disappear.

A couple days after the incident Doja Cat once again took to twitter to apologise to her fans for her behaviour. With that being said she wanted to reiterate that she will still be quitting even though she’s apologised and even though she will be completing her current responsibilities.

Doja Cat got overwhelmed for the first time in her career experiencing backlash on a larger scale and resorted to the first way out rather than pushing through. Though Doja Cat has been making music for a long time she really came to fame on a large scale because of Tiktok. This is the environment she thrives in and rarely receives much hate, the young audience even refer to her as the “queen of TikTok.”Being a part of such a platform and mainly living on the internet can make you lose touch of reality sometimes which is why Doja Cat couldn’t handle the pressure of new experiences in different places outside of TikTok.

There comes a time in many if not all musicians lives where they want to throw in the towel because they can’t handle either the pressure, the fame, the lack of motivation, etc. It is not unheard of from the smallest musicians to some of the most popular people out there to go through tough moments that make them want to quit. Being a musician is a tough career choice that requires constant work, constant innovating for little to no dent in the industry. This can make people feel discouraged and not want to bother pursuing their dreams because they don’t see validation in their work or they aren’t being discovered quick enough.

As for the larger musicians, some came to fame at young ages before they were prepared to handle the pressures of the industry and almost always end up in negative scenarios. Rather than straight up quitting most of these musicians end up going down a bad path of drugs and lack of drive to work on their musical goals because it’s a way to push away from the pressures of the industry. It is not often seen that someone announces they are quitting their careers and just silently stop working which in a way it is a form of quitting, quitting on themselves and becoming irrelevant.

Despite the many obstacles presented in the music industry there is no better way to succeed than to keep working no matter what. There is no such thing as high expectations with low actions, to make your dreams come true you need to be persistent in your goals and never give up. The results may not always be positive but that is where you have the best learning opportunities to improve and who knows maybe one day your music will come into the hands of the right person that can take you farther than ever imagined. As for Doja Cat we wish her best of luck in her future endeavors and hope to see her back one day with new music and fresh mentality.
