Tale Of Us are an electronic music duo formed in 2008 consisting of Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri. Soundscapes produced range from dance floor music to chill ambient soundscapes and abstract compositions, however, their audio creations are usually instantly recognized. Based in Berlin, Germany, they possess a sonic vision that blends components of house and techno, infused with traces of pop, nu-disco, and rock music.
In 2016, Tale Of Us established an electronic music label named Afterlife Records. Afterlife rapidly rose in popularity and recognition. The tracks released under the label extensively used synthesizers, creating an atmospheric and mysterious ambiance. What significantly sets Afterlife apart is their engaging stage designs.
Aside from Tale of Us and Afterlife, Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri each have their own solo projects. MRAK is Carmine Conte’s solo project where he presents a great techno landscape with the fusion of captivating sounds, dynamic lighting effects, and analog equipment. This transforms one into a realm where music serves as a powerful medium for self-reflection and exploration.
ANYMA is Matteo Milleri’s solo project that involves blending his soundtracks with immersive animation designs created with the use of NFTs. His unique take in stage design of each DJ performance overall enhances the emotional effect of the music.
